Here I am with my first piano student back in June 14th 2011. She was so much fun to teach. She just starting out with finger numbers, and counting notes. She sure was excited to learn, I taught her up to the 3rd level. I gave her worksheets, and played music games, match the ABC's with the piano notes and she loved it!
Here is my adorable 2nd Student the sister to my first piano student who I taught back in June 2011 also. She sure was a fun student just like her sister. She likes to play by ear, she shows me what song she makes up on her own. She loved to learn the piano, and passes most of her songs each week. Just loved to be around her sweet little spirit.
I had 2 more piano students, they are 2 brothers. They are a couple handsome boys. But they sure picked up on the piano fast. I was surprised! They were doing so well, they pass their songs off every week. They loved playing the duets from Alfred's Basic Piano Prep Course Books, with me. They just had a lot energy, and happy to play the duets with me. They were on level A at the time. Their Mother stayed with them during their lessons. They had taken turns each week who wants to have their lessons first. I put a little bucket of things to do for them while they wait for their turn for a lesson. I put in coloring books crayons, colored pencils, puzzles, popcorn, toys, so they will not get bored while waiting.
Teaching Children piano is a great joy in my life. I am doing what I love.
Here's my first Teenage young man, Morgan I also taught back in 2011, the uncle of the 2 girls. He was not that thrilled at first to take piano Lessons. His parents wanted him to learn the piano before he goes on a mission. That's a great gift to have when you are on a mission. But he is getting better about learning the piano more now, I try to make it fun for him to keep the interest in music in his veins. He is starting to enjoy and understand music more now. He is a character. It took me a while to spread his wings alittle. He had finished the 2nd level in the Piano Adventures books. He just started Level 3A. As a teenager he was busy with his schedule and had to stop. Now he is on his Mission now. He is a wonderful young man.
